Greenland Institute of Natural Resources

I am a postdoctoral researcher in applied population genetics at the Greenland Institute of Natural Resources. My research focuses on molecular ecology, evolutionary biology, population genomics, and conservation genomics. I currently lead a project investigating the genomic architecture of Greenland halibut across the North Atlantic, with a particular focus on the genetic basis of sex determination. I am also a lead author on a project evaluating the use of environmental DNA (eDNA) to characterize biodiversity in southern African ecosystems. In addition, I collaborate on projects that characterize population structure and develop genetic tools to support the sustainable management of Atlantic herring and polar cod.
